What is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome & How Can Yoga Help? - Yoga Pose

3. Mountain Pose (Tadasana)

Begin by standing up tall. The feet can either be together or hip width distance apart. The arms will come on both sides of the body with the fingertips pointing down or with the palms facing forward. As you begin to focus on your breath, stand up a little bit taller to provide a lengthening of the whole body.

You can do this pose against a wall with the palms pushing into the wall for a deeper stretch to address the pain and discomfort that comes with carpal tunnel syndrome. This pose is accessible anywhere at any given time.

While we may not be able to control the type of work we do and the symptoms that it causes, we do have the ability to take a few moments and step on our mat to find relief and comfort.
