5. Sphinx Pose (Salamba Bhujangasana)
Have you seen a picture of the Sphinx in Giza? That’s the pose you’re going to replicate here. You’ll stretch and strengthen the same parts as the Cobra Pose, only not as intense.
So, if the Cobra Pose is too challenging, consider the Sphinx Pose a gentler substitute. You can make the pose passive by staying in the pose while you breathe or active by lowering your torso and rising into the pose sequentially.
