Lizard Pose, or Utthan Pristhasana, is a beneficial stretching posture that strengthens your hips, quadriceps, hamstrings and hip flexors. Practicing this pose regularly and incorporating it into your yoga practice will improve and strengthen your leg muscles and improve your hip flexibility. It is an excellent preparatory pose to help you control and dominate the Crow Pose.
