5. Wide-Legged Forward Fold (Upavistha Konasana)

Practicing Wide-Legged Forward Fold with a partner helps you go deeper into the stretch because you have someone to use as resistance. This pose deeply stretches your adductors and hamstrings, so take it slow.

1. Come into a seated position facing your partner with your legs spread wide
2. Partner 1 does the stretching first by resting their feet against their partner’s feet or ankles (depending on leg length and flexibility)
3. Partner 2 should grab the others hands or wrists and gently lean back, pulling Partner 1 forward
4. Hold for 5 breaths
5. Repeat with the other partner
