2. Tree Pose (Vrksasana)

This is one of the basic yoga poses based purely on its simplicity. However, it will test your stability and balance since you’ll be standing on one foot with the other on the inner side of your thigh.

If you don’t trust your balance, practice this pose close to a wall so you can place a hand on it for balance. Don’t worry, you’ll still get the benefits but it’s more important to avoid a fall.
