7. Cat/Cow Pose
These are two different poses but can be merged into an active yoga pose. If you’ve ever seen an arching cat before, you’ll understandCat Pose while Cow Pose mimics a cow’s udder.
Both require you to be on all fours. While the cat pose gets you to arch your back, the cow pose reverses it by pushing out your chest. This opens you up and helps make your breath deeper.
If you combine them in an active pose, you’ll alternate the two while coordinating your breathing with it.
