Where Stress Manifests in the Body & How Yoga Can Help - Yoga Pose

1. Legs Up the Wall Pose (Viparita Karani)

Start by sitting sideways and bringing your hips as close to the wall as you comfortably can. In one movement, swing your legs up the wall while keeping your head and arms on the ground. Open up the arms in a big T and keep the palms facing upward. You can stay in the pose from 5 to 15 minutes. Avoid this pose if you are on your cycle or have glaucoma. Use caution while attempting this pose if you have a neck or shoulder injury.

Viparita Karani is incredible to help calm the mind. Additionally this pose helps to regulate blood flow, improve digestion and give the legs and torso a nice stretch.
