What is Sciatica?

Sciatica is a pain that courses through one’s leg when there’s a compression and/or irritation of the sciatic nerve. This nerve is a large one that extends from the lower back down the back of each leg.

The pain can go as far as the foot or the ankle depending on what part of the long nerve the compression impacts.
