Promote a Healthy Gut with Yoga for Digestion - Yoga Pose

Boat Pose (Navasana)

This pose is excellent to help wake up a sluggish digestive system. Boat Pose, or Navasana, not only fires up the core but also the internal organs which helps with constipation and bloating.

1. Sit with your legs in front of you with the knees bent
2. Place your feet flat on the floor and the hands on either side of the body
3. Inhale and as you exhale, lift your feet off the floor and use your core to balance
4. Gently lift your arms outward until they are long and straight
5. You can either stay here or straighten the legs until you are in a “V” shape
